Very often after the breakup of a major rock band, the individual members will disappear in to obscrity. But with the Police, members Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland, have remained active. While Sting has kept the highest profile, Copeland has kept busy with movie soundtrack, a recently composed opera and other solo projects. And tonight is the local debut of Animal Logic, a band he formed with Stanley Clarke. Animal Logic performs tonight at the Ventura Theater in Ventura. For more information, call (805) 648-1936.
